This is the lowest projected increase since 2015. 35,157 Existing Housing Stock The total number of dwelling units as of December 31, 2019. 2.9% Population Growth Rate This year’s estimated population growth rate stayed the same at 2.9% in 2018, and slowed from 3.9% in 2017. 441 Total Acres Were Rezoned in 2019 Across 17 Properties These properties were rezoned into residential, civic/institutional, agricultural, and mixed-use districts. 1,126 Dwelling Units Constructed in 2019 8,584 dwelling units are approved and yet to be constructed. 1,978 Residential Dwelling Units Approved in 2019 Approved units are within 6 different developments and will stretch across 180 acres. Of the units approved, only 64 were houses. 897,485 Nonresidential Square Feet Approved by Site Plan An additional 1,961,075 square feet of nonresidential development was approved as part of 4 PUD developments, 3 of which contained residential components. 539 Acres Annexed All 28 properties annexed are in the Goose Creek area.
