The City of Franklin has many of the needed regulatory tools in place or under consideration. Rather, the intent has been to look more broadly at what is being preserved and for what purpose. This is a community that knows why it values historic buildings and their settings. The goals and strategies articulated in the plan will assure that generations from now, Franklin’s exceptional heritage will remain a strong part of its identity.
