365 DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS Defined Terms 23 Chapter Franklin Zoning Ordinance Effective December 30, 2019 Lot Size The area, measured in gross square feet or acres, contained within a lot. Lot Lot Width The distance between the side lot lines measured at the point of the front yard setback line. For corner lots, the lot width is the distance between the side lot line and the side street-facing lot line, measured at the point of the front yard setback line. Lowest Floor The floor surface of the lowest enclosed area of a structure, including a basement. An unfinished or flood-resistant enclosure, usable solely for parking vehicles, building access, or storage, in an area other than a basement area, is not considered to be the lowest floor of a building, provided that the enclosure is not built so as to render the structure in violation of the applicable non-elevation design requirements of this Ordinance.
