23 366 Chapter Defined Terms DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS Franklin Zoning Ordinance Effective December 30, 2019 Main Body The primary mass of a building. The main body may be augmented by side or rear wings as well as bays, porches, and balconies. Main Body Main Color A color used on the facade of a building that constitutes the majority of the color on such facade. Main Entrance A place of ingress and egress to a building that faces the frontage. Major Intersection An intersection of one arterial street with another arterial, collector, or Interstate highway. Major Recreational Equipment A vehicular or portable structure transportable on a mobile chassis, designed to be used for recreational and vacation uses, including travel trailers, pickup campers, coaches, motorized dwellings, tent trailers, boats, boat trailers, other motorized watercraft, and other similar recreational equipment. Manufactured Home Park or Subdivision For the purposes of Section 17.6, Floodplain Regulations, a parcel (or contiguous parcels) of land divided into two or more manufactured home lots for rent or sale. Map For the purposes of Section 17.6, Floodplain Protection, the Flood Hazard Boundary Map (FHBM) or the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for a community issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Masonry Brick, stone, or concrete. Fiber cement siding, stucco, and exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) are not considered masonry.
