Ground Cover Any natural vegetative growth or other material that renders the soil surface stable against accelerated erosion. Group Home A facility that provides for the care and supervision, on a temporary or permanent basis, of groups of more than eight, but not more than 20, persons not defined as a family, who are handicapped, aged, disabled, or need foster care (includes home health hospice.) Guyed Tower A structure composed of three or four support legs, that is “guyed” by wires to anchors in the ground placed at distances radially from the tower and is used to support telecommunications equipment and antennas. h Hanging Sign A type of sign described as such in Section 15.10, Hanging Sign. Heavy Industrial Uses A use characterized by manufacturing, mining, or compounding processes of raw materials that often involves outdoor operations as part of the process.
