Native Vegetation Any indigenous tree, shrub, ground cover, or other plant adapted to the soil, climatic, and hydrographic conditions occurring on the site. Natural Areas The type of open space described as such in Section 11.3, Natural Area. Naturally Occurring Slope The changes in grade or elevation on a lot or site that result from natural processes, not land-disturbing activities. Nature Trail A type of pedestrian path through natural areas, including hiking, walking/jogging, and mountain bike trails. Neighborhood Amenities Outdoor recreation areas, such as pools, sports fields, sports courts, playgrounds, and dog parks typically for use by residents of the development. Neon Lights, tubes, or other devices used to emit neon light. Net Facade The area on a facade, excluding door and window openings.
