78 The Vision: Completing The Square Franklin City Hall Master Plan DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS PRELIMINARY MASTER PLAN �A well-lit, secure sub-grade parking garage providing 200+ parking spaces, in addition to the 299 parking spaces provided by the existing parking garage. �Supplemental parking spaces are provided along internal alleyways �A variety of interior community meeting spaces are provided on the ground level of the building �A variety of outdoor community amenity spaces are proposed – pocket park, lawn, plazas, small courtyards, and green roofs �Opportunities for public art are identified in the plan �Two locations for public restrooms are proposed on the ground level. One location that is accessible from the Square and one location accessible from the South end of the site �The main entrance to the building is on Public Square. A plaza is proposed at the entry that aligns with the existing plaza in front of the Williamson County Courthouse. �A wider, more inviting pedestrian corridor from the main entrance of Public Square to the existing Second Avenue garage �The front wall of City Hall is in line with the front wall of the Williamson County Courthouse �A welcoming, open monumental stair is proposed in the main Lobby to visually connect the floors of the building and make the departments easily accessible to the service functions of each floor �A double height Lobby with a coffee kiosk that is welcoming to visitors providing pre-function space for the Boardroom and opportunities for informational displays for visitors to Franklin �Potential for future growth �Contextually responds to the height, scale, and massing of Public Square, Third Avenue, and Church Street
