201 LANDSCAPE General Provisions 12 Chapter Franklin Zoning Ordinance Effective January 1, 2022 12.2 Landscape Surface Area 12.2.1 Calculation of Landscape Surface Area The minimum landscape surface area (LSA) shall be calculated by multiplying the total development site acreage by the minimum LSA percentage for the applicable district. 12.2.2 Minimum Landscape Surface Area Development sites and lots shall have a minimum LSA acreage according to the table below: District Minimum Landscape Surface Area (LSA) AG 70% ER 60% R1 50% R2 R3 R4 OR CI 40% R6 MR GO 1ST 30% PD 20% NC CC RC6 RC12 15% DD 5TH 0% LI HI 20% 12.1 General Provisions 12.1.1 Review for Compliance Review for compliance with this Chapter shall occur at the time of submittal of development plans, site plans, and preliminary plats. 12.1.2 Landscape Plan A landscape plan that demonstrates how landscape will be planted on a development site shall be submitted as a part of a site plan application in accordance with the requirements established by the Department of Planning and Sustainability as posted on the City website. Additional landscape plantings may be required by the Stormwater Management Ordinance.
