03 52 Chapter 5TH—5th Avenue North District ZONING DISTRICTS Franklin Zoning Ordinance Effective January 1, 2022 3.17 5TH—5th Avenue North District 3.17.1 Purpose The 5TH district is intended to: A. Provide for nonresidential uses along the 5th Avenue North corridor leading into the historic downtown; and B. Allow for redevelopment of properties on the edges of the floodway fringe developed prior to Federal or local floodplain regulations. 3.17.2 Applicability In cases of conflict between the standards of the 5TH and FFO districts, the regulations of the 5TH district shall apply. 3.17.3 Use Regulations A. Principal uses shall comply with Section 5.1, Principal Uses. B. Accessory uses and structures shall comply with Section 5.2, Accessory Uses and Structures. C. Temporary uses and structures shall comply with Section 5.3, Temporary Uses and Structures. 3.17.4 Building Types The following principal building types are permitted: A. Commercial/Mixed-Use Building B. Civic Building 3.17.5 Frontage Types The following frontage types are permitted: A. Urban Frontage
