DRAFT FRANKLIN HISTORIC DISTRICT DESIGN GUIDELINES 103 This Chapter provides guidelines for accessory structures in Franklin’s historic districts. Accessory structures include detached garages, carports, pool houses, accessory dwellings, tool houses, greenhouses, sheds, garden shelters, or similar structures. They should be compatible with and subordinately scaled to the principal building they serve. See the Zoning Ordinance for specific requirements of accessory structures and accessory dwellings.
