Replace damaged portions to match the original. • Visually connect the street and building with a walkway leading directly from the sidewalk to the main entrance. • Use sidewalk materials that were historically typical, such as concrete, brick, and stone. • Design new sidewalks and walkways to follow historic patterns of alignment, configuration, width, and materials. The layout of new sidewalks and walkways should take placement of historic trees into consideration.
