Each sign should be a different sign type, unless it can be demonstrated that more than one of the same sign type more appropriately places signage within historic architectural features. Directory signs are a sign type often used for residential buildings with multiple tenants. Where there is anentrancebehind thebuilding that faces aparkingarea, a fourth sign may be considered.
