DRAFT FRANKLIN HISTORIC DISTRICT DESIGN GUIDELINES 205 chapter 11 Rebel’s Rest Rebel’s Rest is located at 176 Eagles Glen Drive. Shortly after members of the Hodge family, early Williamson County residents, purchased this property from the Goff family in 1835, they arranged for construction of this two-story brick house, which the family owned and occupied until the 1930s. The house remains a fine example of its Federal style. Seward Hall Seward Hall, or John Ewing Hill House, is located on Liberty Pike. The property exemplifies rural Williamson farmstead. On the property is also a two-story, brick, central-hall, Greek Revival house. TBD
