EFFECTIVE MAY 30, 2022 103 This Chapter provides guidelines for accessory structures in Franklin’s historic districts. Accessory structures include detached garages, carports, pool houses, accessory dwellings, tool houses, greenhouses, sheds, garden shelters, or similar structures that serve the principal building. The purpose of this Chapter is to provide guidance to ensure that accessory structures are compatible with and subordinate to the principal buildings they serve.
