Freestanding outdoor chimneys may be appropriate if sited so that they are not readily visible from the street. Gutters & Downspouts • Use half-round gutters if the building architectural style is reflective of dates before 1940. • Use ogee designed gutters if the building architectural style is reflective of dates 1940 or later.
