FRANKLIN HISTORIC PRESERVATION PLAN

Develop a coordinated funding plan for research and storytelling. A phased funding strategy is needed to sustain these efforts. This includes identifying a mechanism for ongoing research, as well as managing and preserving research products. Micro-grants can help support small-scale storytelling and interpretation projects, while larger initiatives may draw on potential funding sources such as the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Tennessee Historical Commission Marker Program, and Humanities Tennessee.
